Women's Tennis Suffers Loss to No. 43 Penn State
MSU falls to Penn State, 4-3, in final match of regular-season.

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State women’s tennis was edged, 4-3, by No. 43 Penn State in its final match of regular season. The Spartans finished conference season 1-10 and compiled an overall record of 11-15.
In singles play, sophomore Catherine Parenteau recorded a Spartan win at the No. 2 spot. Parenteau fell in the first set, 4-6, and rallied with wins in the second and third sets, 6-4, 1-0. On court five, freshman Emily Meyers fell, 2-6, in the first set and rebounded 6-4, 6-4, to take the match point. Sophomore Julianne Gruber picked up the third point on court six, 6-2, 4-6, 1-0.
Michigan State will compete in the Big Ten Championships from April 25 to April 28 in Bloomington, Ind.
