Day two's action had the Spartans matching up with Louisville and Western Michigan for doubles and Eastern Michigan for singles. MSU played in 13 matches and totaled 10 wins.
"I think we performed well," assistant coach Tyler Faulkner said. "We played against three teams that we played last year and did well. It's a good test for where we are and what we need to get better at. All in all, going into the spring it was a good performance and I think we'll be ready once we get going into January."
Overall, MSU had 11 players participate in the two-day tournament.

The spring dual season will being Jan. 19, 2014, as MSU will welcome in Toledo and Detroit for a pair of matches.
"A little less willing to beat ourselves and forcing them - our opponents - to work hard and win their own points basically," Faulkner said on areas of focus for the team between now and Jan. 19. "All in all, from point to point being a little bit tougher, playing those a little bit smarter and I think we'll be fine if we can make those adjustments."
