Women's Tennis Continues Home Matches

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's tennis team will host Eastern Michigan University on Tuesday, January 22, at 4 p.m. at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility. The Spartans are currently 2-0 after sweeping Dayton and Oakland last Saturday. “We had a great weekend and everyone feels good about their skills,” said head coach Simone Jardim. “I think the girls did great in the matches last weekend as they played with high competition. The team is enjoying playing at home in Spartan territory and ready to compete.” Looking Back
Evaluating Eastern Michigan
In singles matches, Klara Supejova leads the Eagles with a 3-1 record. Nino Mebuke and Zsofia Biro own a 2-2 record entering the weekend. Paired up in doubles are Mebuke and Supejova with a 3-1 record in doubles play, winning their last two matches.
The Spartans are 30-7 against the Eagles all-time, and last season MSU recorded a 5-2 win at home. Next up
