The Michigan State women's tennis team will feature the student-athletes this season in attempt for fans to "Meet the Spartans". This week sophomore Catherine Parenteau (Quebec, Canada) sat down with to answer questions about her experience so far at MSU and her favorite things.

Nickname and why: Cathou because it's a french nickname.

Major: Preveterinary

Best thing about being at MSU: Playing on the women's tennis team.

Favorite class: Animal Science (lab)

Favorite food: Hot Pot (Chinese Fondue)

Favorite restaurant: Olive Garden and Chipotle

Special talent: I can throw a baseball at 70 mph.

What do you want to be when you grow up: A veterinarian.
