Women's Tennis Adds Another to 2014 Class

Chua will join the Spartans in the fall of 2014.

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's tennis program and head coach Simone Jardim have announced the signing of a third member to the 2014 recruiting class. Aslina Chua (Kuching, Malaysia) signed her national letter of intent on Thursday, and will join the Spartan program in the fall of 2014. Chua joins Alexandra Baer (Virginia Beach, Va.) and Lexi Baylis (Clarkston, Mich.) to make up the 2014 class. Baer and Baylis signed in November 2013.

"We are excited to have Aslina join our program," Jardim said. "She has a lot of international experience and will fit in well with our team."

Prior to MSU: Attended International Virtual Learning Academy in Nevada for three years... Competed under coach Deen Heshaam... Former No. 1 ranked player in Malaysia... Doubles champion at the Grade 4 ITF Junior International Championships in Malaysia...
