Women’s Tennis Adds Four for 2018-19

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan State women’s tennis team has announced that it will welcome four freshmen to the roster for the 2018-19 season.
 
Nicole Stephens (Marietta, Ga.), Lauren Lemonds (Carmel, Ind.), Maja Pietrowicz (Clinton Township, Mich.) and Kate Harvey (Lake Forest, Ill.) have signed National Letters of Intent to enroll at Michigan State next fall. 
 
Nicole Stephens – Marietta, Ga. / Johnson Ferry Christian Academy 
Five-star recruit… Highest ranking of 23 in the 2018 recruiting class… 2017 champion at the USTA National Level 3 in Macon, Ga.
 
Lauren Lemonds – Carmel, Ind./Carmel High School
Five-star recruit… Highest ranking of 47 in the 2018 recruiting class… Indiana Sports Awards Girls Tennis Player of the Year with a record of 33-0 (Indiana state record)… Won the individual and team high school state championship.
 
Maja Pietrowicz – Clinton Township, Mich./Utica Academy for International Studies
Five-star recruit… Highest ranking of 55 in the 2018 recruiting class… ITA Summer Circuit doubles champion at both the Notre Dame and Western Michigan events… National Level 2 finalist in Glencove, N.Y.
 
Kate Harvey – Lake Forest, Ill./Stevenson High School
Three-star recruit… Highest ranking of 206 in the 2018 recruiting class… State champion and state runner-up at Stevenson High School… Was awarded All-State honors for four years… Two-time Ambassador Award recipient.
