Former Spartan standout Sarah Adelaine will be working as a student assistant coach at Michigan State this season after completing a four-year stint on the Spartan track squad that saw her put her name all over the MSU record books. Adelaine holds MSU outdoor records in the discus (163-1) and hammer throw (191-7) and ranks second in the shot put (50-0), and also set the school indoor mark in the weight throw (59-7 1/2) while ranking second in the shot put (49-4 1/4). She was an NCAA regional qualifier in the hammer, discus and shot put in both her junior and senior seasons at MSU. Adelaine is on schedule to receive her degree in family community services in 2005. |
