Wrobel Earns All-District Recognition

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State's Jenna Wrobel earned AVCA All-District honors for the 1997 season. She was one of 12 players selected from District 2, which includes most of the Big Ten teams. Wrobel, a junior, helped MSU earn a berth in the NCAA tournament for the fourth-straight year by averaging 5.46 kills per game (top ten in the nation). Her 671 season-kills total is a new single-season school record while her 19 20-kill games also tops the single-season charts.

The AVCA All-America team will be announced on Dec. 17.
