Brittany Holbrook joined the volleyball staff as the Director of Volleyball Operations for the 2014 season.

A 2012 graduate of Oakland University and a four-year letterwinner for the Grizzlies at middle hitter, Holbrook comes to MSU after a year as an assistant coach at Wayne State. As a student-athlete at Oakland, she appeared in 113 matches over four years, earning Summit League All-Freshman team honors in 2009 and All-Summit League Honorable Mention kudos as a senior. As a senior captain, her class capped a career which saw them graduate as the winningest senior class in school history (68 victories), while she became just the fourth player in the Oakland annals to record more than 1,000 career kills. Among her academic achievements,. She earned Academic All-Summit League honors four times, was a Distinguished Scholar (2011-13), and made the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.

Holbrook is pursuing her master's degree in social work at Wayne State, and earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Coaches 4 Coaches scholarship in the fall of 2013.
