Molli Munz, M.S., C.S.C.S, USAW is the assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Olympic Sports. Molli is beginning her second year leading the strength and conditioning program for the Spartan volleyball team and has been a member of the Spartan Strength and Conditioning Staff since 2008.
Over the years, Coach Munz has gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience in strength and conditioning. Prior to her current position she served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Michigan. For two and a half years she oversaw the strength and conditioning programs for nine sports. Before she arrived at the University of Michigan, she spent a year as a strength and conditioning intern at The Ohio State University.
Munz earned her Bachelor of Science degree in health-fitness from Central Michigan University. While obtaining her degree, she competed as a member of the women's basketball team. She was a four year starter and two year captain. After she finished her basketball career, she got her start in strength and conditioning at Michigan State as a graduate assistant from 2002-2004. While working for the Spartans, she earned a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology.
Coach Munz will also work with the volleyball team throughout the summer to make sure that the team is in match-ready shape for the rigors of the Big Ten season.

The strength staff's "neck-down" training and "neck-up" motivation provide the optimal environment to develop healthy, powerful, and determined athletes who have one focus - winning a National Championship.
Coach Munz runs a summer conditioning program that is second to none in order to prepare student-athletes for the physical demands of volleyball in the Big Ten Conference. The strength & conditioning staff uses a state-of-the-art weight training facility that features some of the finest equipment around. With plenty of free weights and apparatuses, Munz is able to help student-athletes achieve new heights in strength and muscle tone, leaping and attack ability, along with adding great flexibility and improving recovery time.
