Posted 149 of her 172 kills in the final 19 matches of the season ... Ranked fourth on the team with 152 kills in Big Ten play and ranked third in total attempts in Big Ten play with 445; she finished with 510 on the season ... Posted a season-high 14 kills in the Spartans' five-set win over Northwestern (10/10) at home while hitting .257 on 35 attempts ... Posted eight double-digit kill efforts on the season ... Had four kills on six attempts with no errors, along with a block assist, in her MSU debut against Wofford (9/7)... Followed it up with four kills on six attempts against Delaware State (9/8)... Added a kill and a block assist at Harvard (9/8); all three matches were at the Harvard Invitational... Earned her first varsity letter.
High School: Earned four letters for coach Kelly Abdo... Named team Most Valuable Player as a senior... Also named first team all-region and first team all-state during senior campaign... Named team captain for the 2005-06 season, posting a team-high 413 kills and 102 blocks in en route to all-region honors... Was selected to the 2005 USA Youth National A3 Team that trained in Colorado Springs, Colo... Also lettered in basketball at Monroe... Garnered academic all-state honors during junior campaign... National Honor Society member.
