Spartan Volleyball Team Beats Loyola Marymount

Santa Barbara, Ca. - The Michigan State Volleyball team easily defeated Loyola Marymount in the UC Santa Barbara Bellomo Classic today 15-8, 15-8, and 15-11.

They improved their record on the season to 6-3 thanks to outstanding performances by Jenna Wrobel and Veronica Morales. Wrobel had a .395 hitting percentage in the match with 20 kills, while Morales' numbers were .350 and 10 respectively. The Spartans as a whole did well with a team hitting percentage of .356.

After the Bellomo Classic they will prepare for the Kentucky Conference Challenge to be held September 19-20.
