Spartan's Beat Butler Easily 3-0

Lexington,KY - Jena Wrobel led Michigan State's women's volleyball team over Butler University earlier today in the Kentucky Conference Challenge. The junior outside hitter had 15 kills and 10 digs, helping the Spartans to a 15-10, 15-6, 15-7 win. MSU improves to 9-3, while Butler loses just its second match of the season, and now stand at 12-2.

Freshman setter Vicki Basil kept things going with 30 assists, and senior outside hitter Corie Richard had four of the Spartans 11 team blocks.

Meanwhile, Butler hit just .041 and had 26 errors versus 30 team kills. (MSU had 16 errors to go with 41 kills for a .248 hitting percentage.) Both Amy Pickett and Lynze Lysen had nine kills to lead Butler.
