EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State volleyball team has released its 2008 spring schedule. The Spartans will play in four tournaments, including hosting a tournament on April 12 in Jenison Field House.
The Spartans return to action, for the first time since their NCAA Round of 16 run in the fall, on Saturday, March 29 for the Dunes Volleyball Tournament in Rolling Prairie, Ind. The following Saturday, MSU will travel to Eastern Michigan for the EMU Spring Bash.
On Saturday, April 12, the Spartans will host a tournament at Jenison featuring MSU, Akron, Central Michigan, Grand Valley State and a Spartan alumnae squad. Action will begin at 9 a.m. with matches being played on two separate courts throughout the day. Matches will consist of two games to 25 with no cap. Admission for the spring tournament is free.
Michigan State will conclude the spring with the GLC College Invite on Saturday, April 19 at the Great Lakes Center in Aurora, Ill.
