East Lansing, Mich. - Michigan State's volleyball program will wrap up its spring training and competition with the MSU Spring Invitational this Saturday at Jenison Field House.

Five teams - Ferris State, IPFW, Grand Valley, Kent State, and Akron - will also participate in the day-long, two-court tournament. Matches, which begin at 9 a.m., will be two games each, to 25 points. Admission is free.

"We've been really happy with the progress that we have made this spring," said head coach Cathy George. "Competition is an opportunity to validate your training, and to measure your progress. We're feeling good about our returning players, and I think that there's a high level of excitement as we look toward the fall."

Parking for the MSU Spring Invitational will be at IM West, at the North end of Spartan Stadium. Please plan extra time to park, as there are several home events taking place Saturday on campus.
