East Lansing, Mich. - - Fourteen of Michigan State's volleyball games will be televised or streamed live in the 2013 season, in a schedule announced on Thursday by the Big Ten Conference. Highlighting MSU's television exposure is a game at Minnesota which will air live on ESPN 2 on Oct. 17.
MSU has an Oct. 20 game at Wisconsin, and the Nov. 2 game at home against Penn State on the Big Ten Network. Eleven other games will be streamed live at BTN.com.
The Big Ten sent seven teams to the NCAA Tournament last season: Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State and Purdue. The Big Ten was well-represented in the preseason AVCA Division I Coaches Poll, with seven teams earning a top-25 ranking, including four top-10 squads.
Built into the schedule are two wildcard dates in November, allowing BTN to select the most appealing matchups as teams face off for the Big Ten title. Below is a complete television schedule for BTN's volleyball coverage. A complete streaming schedule can be found online at BTN.com.
