| GENERAL QUESTIONS |
I am ordering for the first time. Can I pick my seats and are they guaranteed? You may request a seat location, but all season tickets will be allocated according to the Spartan Fund ticket priority system. Your seat location will be based on availability and your current Spartan Fund membership level relative to all other orders. The Spartan Ticket Office will not know what availability is until ALL renewals are in and changes/adjustments are made. (appr. June).
How can I pay for my tickets? E-check- Each year, the athletic department spends over $440,000 in credit card fees. Paying by check reduces fees and enables ticket prices to remain stable. The Spartan Ticket Office also accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
What happens if I choose not to renew my season tickets? Account Priority, which is earned through consecutive years of season ticket purchases, will be forfeited. The seat(s) will be offered to other Spartan Fans for purchase and they will then have renewal rights to the seat(s). Should you desire season tickets in future seasons, you will be given the best tickets available at that time according to your priority level. If you do not plan to renew please send an email to tickets@msu.edu saying such and to stop receiving renewal reminder notifications.
Why is there a renewal deadline? Season Ticket holders are eligible to renew existing seats provided they renew by the May 1st deadline. The deadline enables the Ticket Office to review seats available for reallocation to existing season ticket holders and determine what can be sold to new season ticket holders.
What age is admitted for free to Spartan Football games? It is a Big Ten Conference policy that everyone, regardless of age must have a ticket. This policy will be strictly enforced.
